Before Studio Session 1

Year 9 woodwork we had a task to create a CD rack. It was designed and rendered in Rhino. Using the basic design i had created i used wood for the most part except the railings on the rack were steel rods. The hardest part of this project back then was using the laid machine to acquire the correct curvature of the body. All in all it was the most fun i had designing and it was very rewarding taking a risk to do something outside the norm and be different.

As you all know this is the Taj Mahal in India. I visited this magnificent Mughal architectural structure when i was touring India summer 08/09. Whilst i was there i learned about the history and how it blends elements of Indian, Islamic, Persian and Ottomon architectural styles to form one of the Worlds most renowned tombs. This piece of art lives up to its standards from every possible angle that i have seen.

This photo was taken in Goa, India on my India trip summer 08/09. After seeing the sunrise over the Himalayas, watching the sunset over the Indian ocean was beautiful. The intensity of colours was overwhelming and takes your breathe away!

Colour, Unique, Seperate

Contrast, Overlapping, Emotion
